COMPLIANCE

  • Define health and safety regulations applicable to your organization’s activities 
  • Support front line management with understanding the regulatory framework related to your organization’s OH&S
  • Establish process to stay updated with changing regulations


  • Ensure that regulated activities of your organization conform to OH&S requirements
  • Develop or update policies and procedures to protect workers from injury or illness (IIPP)
  • Create instructions for workers regarding cautions or requirements to protect associate’s health and safety


  • Establish process for managers to verify OH&S systems are maintained

  • Develop process to identify workplace hazards

  • Establish plan to  improve controls and reduce risks


  • Define situations that could require response to protect the workers and workplace

  • Assist management with providing appropriate training and equipment to support the emergency response


  • Create programs to improve health and safety of workers
  • Increase associate involvement and participation with workplace improvement programs
